Bookworms Rendez-vous
Our February meeting happened with some success despite the perpetual rain that has now become a traditional element that follows all of our meetings. Pathetic fallacy anyone? Is there a hint we are not getting?We met at our local bookstore, as usual, and we had a couple of new members join us. We had some fun and munched on home-baked brownies that lasted less than 30 minutes once revealed. It was a yummy good time!
Bookworms had to put their creative hats on again and needed to make some on-the-spot creative decisions using 4 random words generated from a "magic" box. Rolling on the floor and acting silly, were of course part and parcel of the performances. Among laughs, we managed to piece together the short story behind each bizarre roleplay.
The final touch to the night was looking ridiculously nerdy wearing our post-it book-personality. Shakespeare joined us, as did Mina and Michael from Skellig and how can we forget Mr Darcy? He really did make our night!
